Agadir
The southern seaside resort, with a new trambus since 2026 and the Adrar stadium in phase 2 (46,000 seats, 2028).
Agadir, Morocco’s beach city, is the southernmost host city. Since April–May 2026, a bus rapid transit service (“Amalway”) has linked the port to Tikiouine over 15.5 km. The Adrar stadium, on the outskirts, is mainly reached by taxi.
Getting there
No train: flights from Casablanca (Royal Air Maroc, from €124.44 return observed on 30 August 2026) and direct flights from Europe; CTM/Supratours buses from Marrakech (about 3 h 30 min to 4 h). Al Massira airport is 25 km away, taxi 150 to 200 dirhams.
Getting around
Amalway trambus: 5 dirhams a journey (10 dirhams for the card), every 5 min from 6am to 10pm. Stadium: taxi 50 to 80 dirhams from the seafront (15 min); free parking for 4,100 cars.

- Agadir Oufella kasbah — The hill of the old kasbah, reached by cable car, with a view over the bay.
- The beach — Nine kilometres of sand and a seafront promenade.
- Souk El Had — One of the largest markets in Morocco (closed on Mondays).
