Tickets for 2030: nothing is on sale, beware of sites offering them

As of 30 August 2026, FIFA has opened no ticket sales for the 2030 World Cup. Its official ticketing and hospitality pages contain no 2030 content. No hospitality provider has been appointed, no volunteer programme has been launched, and no draw date has been announced.

Sites to avoid

Several sites with reassuring names (“portugal2030tickets”, “soccertickets2030”, “footballtickets2030” and others) are already offering tickets or paid waiting lists. As of 30 August 2026, none of them is an official FIFA channel: they are unofficial resellers. Buying a ticket for a match whose date, stadium and teams are all unknown makes no sense: the ticket does not exist.

The same caution applies to the “official logos” doing the rounds: on 25 May 2026, the fact-checking site Maldita.es debunked a widely shared fake 2030 logo. The only image that exists is the bid logo “Yalla Vamos”, presented in March 2024; the official tournament emblem has not been unveiled.

What can be anticipated (by comparison with 2026)

For the 2026 World Cup, FIFA opened the first ticketing phase roughly nine months to a year before the tournament, appointed its hospitality partner (On Location) and launched the volunteer programme around 18 months to 2 years in advance. By analogy, the first 2030 steps should come in 2028 or 2029. That is an inference, not an announcement.
